I would think this will make him an official member of whatever "elite" class thinks is good for "the market" and the people who (of course) make the most money from it.

As for legacy.... that of course cuts both ways...

this so called deal gets to take 700 million out of MEDICARE and it locks in the depreciation of this benefit for 6 years----------

THAT's -----4.2 TRILLION in LOST BENEFIT PAYMENTS GOING to some OLIGARPHY---------why isn't this being mentioned -this is more than outrageous

What does Medicare have to do with trade and the money that millions of us have paid into that social program, we, now get 80/20 in benefits----cheap, now most companies are 65/35 or 70/30 for there employees, see the correlation folks.

I think every democrat needs to explain to us why they support this bottom feeding gut cutting legislation to give to the rich, the oligarpghy class, this is pure unadulterated hypocrisy.

That this will further legislation is just like the funding for Amtrak------it getting cut, they are trying to privatize it to the demise to make the MIDDLE CLASS to the POOR CLASS----------why do they not like ME or YOU--------I did nothing to them ------------nothing

really makes light of what it actually is.

Its an investor's rights treaty, that has the potential to undermine the rights to health, safety and the environment of the citizens in favour of big money investors from other countries.

It is not a mere "trade deal".

It's not about opening markets. That's a complete line of bullshit sold by the ignorant and the grifters. It's a rules harmonization pact that is designed to enshrine absurd American standards of intellectual property worldwide. Oh, and it's going to wipe out the ability to effective regulate or control finance, too.
