So yeah. This happened in my state of Iowa. The Bakken pipeline is supposed to go through our state, and Big Oil is working overtime--trying to buy out, bribe and arm twist Iowa landowners into allowing the pipeline to go through their property.
Apparently, Hughie Tweedie, a 61-year-old landowner, turned down money from the oil companies. In an attempt to sweeten the deal--a land agent representing the oil company--offered Tweedie prostitutes three times! The third time it happened Tweedie was prepared. He secretly recorded the exchange--and the land agent offered him a $1,200 teenage prostitute, if Tweedie would agree to allow the pipeline in his yard.
Can you believe this?
Tweedie took the recording to the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations (top cops in Iowa). He also called the Huffington Post and other media outlets. He's shared the story with many media outlets and has kept the recording.
I love this man. He's one of my Facebook friends now. I'm glad that he exposed these scumbags. Is anyone really surprised that these greedy, shiftless oil sociopaths would also have regular access to teenage sex slaves? I'm not.

but I imagine that it will most likely surface.
This is a fairly new story. I hope that CNN or other major networks pick it up.
This was on Hughie's Facebook today (Great news out of Iowa, if true. Only 13 percent of Iowans are complying with the oil company agents who are offering them cash for their land. Makes those greedy bastards' jobs a lot harder with that amount of non-compliance. Hoping they'll just pack it in and go home!
FB post from Tweedy--
"Doing a DesMoines Register interview tomorrow at 10 a.m.. Sat in on a lawyer computer conference with my attorney, for lawyers representing landowners about easements . There has been great secrecy about the percentage of voluntary easements, (selling out). If true the number I heard today was 13%, that would be wonderful news, and I hope it's true. I hope nobody else sells out.
I've never heard of it, but I guess a show called " Vice " has shown interest in this story. Who knowns ? Stay tuned . In Peace, Hughie"
