I just read an article showing pictures of her in high-school cheer-leading. She was gorgeous, smart and apparently loved to flaunt her legs (classmates said) - just a normal girl having fun and enjoying life. I can't understand how she ended up so completely under his power and went on to do things like this to her own children.

another thing is she is almost never affectionate with her kids . it doesn't even seem like she hugs or touches them much.

older girls to raise, imo. It just seems strange to me that someone could change so much and appear, to me, anyway - completely brainwashed around him. You could be right though, she might be the one who's the most extreme and enforces all that garbage.
