Anything off the beaten track will get one of those reality shows.

A friend recovering from surgery and found shows about Alaska. People living off the grid, living in the woods, etc. There were about four different series about them. She watched all of them! One of them was about singer Jewel's family, who happen to live like that. Another was about this family that lived with in the woods with no modern conveniences almost. Another was building a house and another fishing and building a shelter.

Who knows what else is out there.
