Iraq War Veteran Confronts Karl Rove

http://bluenationreview.com/iraq-war-veteran-confronts-karl-rove/

Fox News contributor and GOP campaign strategist Karl Rove was confronted by an Iraq War veteran who challenged him to apologize for the war that left thousands of Americans dead and wounded.

Between 2003 and 2014, a total of 4,491 U.S. service members lost their lives in Iraq—fighting a war that was based on now debunked reports that the country harbored “weapons of mass destruction.” Nearly 33,000 were wounded in action during Operation Iraqi Freedom, according to the U.S. Department of Defense casualty website.

Ryan HenowitzDuring a speaking engagement at the University of Connecticut this week, 32-year-old Ryan Henowitz told the former Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President George W. Bush that he’d witnessed the horrible injuries and casualties of fellow American soldiers and Iraqi civilians.

“Can you take responsibility and apologize for your decision in sending a generation to lose their humanity and deal with the horrors of war, which you have never had the courage to face?” Henowitz asked. “Will you apologize to the millions of fathers and mothers who lost their children on both sides of this useless war?”

"If we only knew then what we know now."

Yadda, yadda, yadda.

How these rogues can even look themselves in the mirror is beyond me.

Wait. I know how. They're sociopaths.

I will never, ever vote for anyone who led us into that war.

From where Rove and his body should be doing their thinking:

Like rebuild the energy grid, update infrastructure, invest in education, etc.: They need desperate young people to man the War Machine. If kids could make a decent living working in a civilian job, they wouldn't be so quick to join up.
