But I regularly eat shellfish, wear cotton blends and well, I'm just eaten up with homosexuality.
Do I get any deceleration points to hell? Not having tattoos should mean I plummet at least a little slower, right?

(11,175 posts)8. I thought wearing glasses meant I was damned, but fortunately I was wrong.
Motivated by that last toon, I checked it. Leviticus 21:16-23 is about who "may come near to offer the food of his God." The general rule is that "No man who has any defect may come near...." and that specifically includes anyone "who has any eye defect...."
I confess I'm not completely clear on what function I'm barred from performing -- it sounds kind of like sacrificing a calf to Zeus but I think that's a different tradition. At least, though, I'm not going to Hell along with you tattooed sinners.
