Al Qieda (?) has been pretty much emasculated by Obama for a relatively cheap cost.
Their effectiveness as terrorists have been greatly diminished. Unlike the Bush years when they grew and grew.

(4,840 posts)It's been about 11 years since 911 and 911 didn't even bring the U.S. down. With this kind of major attack consistency it's safe to say the wars were a major overreaction to what Kerry and others said required a police action. All that money was put into wars that could have been used for domestic programs. In fact, by our reaction to 911, it can be said we did more harm to ourselves than the terrorists' did.
