Rachel on the Houston floods

looks interesting - never forget it's location in relation to NOLA - understand the Bayous and the low lying bayous and never forget it is a low lying city.

Six inches of rain in one freaking hour - 11 inches overnight

That the bayous rose back up later after the worse flooding. I wonder if it was due to high tide since they are so close to the ocean?

Did high tide and global warming (rising oceans) make this worse?
