Payless Shoes, Choice Hotels, Walgreens, also exit Duggers & TLC

https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/more-advertisers-pull-19-kids-202500221.html

"..Now, more advertisers are joining in on pulling their commercials.

Choice Hotels tells ET, "We have decide to remove our advertising from the show."

----''
In addition, a company spokesperson for Payless ShoeSource shared with ET, "Payless ads ran during this show as part of a larger buy with TLC. We are taking steps to have them removed from future episodes."

Walgreens also issued a statement to ET, saying that the company will no longer advertise on the program. "In the wake of recent news, we are no longer advertising on the '19 Kids and Counting' program," its statement read.

----------------------

Glad to hear this. Hope more join in to pull their advertising. This is the only thing that will motivate TLC to remove the incest show.
Does't sound like the network is quite ready to give up their cash cow, judging by the attempt at bringing it back in a different format.
Perhaps TLC will finally "get" the scope of disgust & irreparable damage done, as their sponsers exit TLC

It doesn't seem right to insult his sisters. They are victims of sexual abuse and their upbringing.

It was indeed incest. Its ugly . It isn't simply 'molesting underage girls." It was with his own sisters.
Josh Dugger committed incest.
They need to own the truth, in its complete ugliness.
The truth is what makes us recoil at the repulsive act.
It is what it is.

The incest label is completely fair when applied to Josh Dugger. His family not so much. It just isn't something I would want said about me if I had a brother who sexually assaulted me.

..thinking they can simply reformat the show, continue on as though nothing happened, & expecting people who are so disgusted by this event to watch the new Duggars, in whatever format they recreate it as.
Everytime they show the girls, IT will be staring back at the viewers. Everytime Jimbob, who covered it up, and Michele, gives that glazed over look & mentions jesus & family, IT will be there, burned into the brains of all who loath the sight of them knowing that they covered for the incest committed upon their daughters.

Yes it will be the incest (that TLC wants the viewers to pretend never happened) show.
Believing that if the viewers can't see Josh Duggar, then IT no longer exists.
IT will forever be there staring back at us from the TV.
IT is just that dispicably repulsive to the human spirit.
TLC needs to respect those that find it so.

Duggars need to be retired.
We have ALL become victims of the glossing over of this sad story.

Now if we could only rid ourselves of the Robertsons and Kardashians we can be on easy street.
