Bonnie Raitt's beautiful, touching, bad-ass new video.

Get your tissues ready. This is so awesome! It's been posted on DU previously, with little response. Very sad.

Mods, please don’t move this to the lounge or the entertainment forum. It is way too cool, and so timely. I just posted it in the LGBT forum too.

This is Epic! Full-screen it! Turn it up!

Mind = blown!

She is such a wonderful singer and I have to admit to a longtime crush.

My wife and I went to see her perform a few years ago. Bonnie's father passed away the day before the concert but she didn't cancel. It was the best concert I have ever seen, by any artist.

Saw Bruce, Bonnie, and Jackson Browne 17 years ago in Seattle, was great and anytime you can see her it is well worth the money.

She's only a few years younger than me. Perfect!

I used to party with her back in the day, believe it or not. Hoo-boy!

for 34 years. Saw her in concert a few years back and she was fantastic, as always.

Thanks for the video.

and when they started, she stomped the time for the band. At which point, Browne runs up and re-stomps the time his way. It was hilarious. We thought they were breaking out in a Mexican hat dance.

because the venues were so much smaller. I've truly loved her since I was 14 years old. And she looks and sounds more magnificent with each year.

I was on the Little Feat '77 & '78 tours, and Lowell's 'Thanks, I'll Eat It Here' tour.

Bonnie would hop on tour for a few days once in a while. Jackson Browne too.

She is so awesome! 'Slip Stream' is great. Her set at the New Orleans Jazz Fest on Sunday was epic. This is the only video I could find (high quality, from the original live stream). She tore it up down there!

Did you play on the tour?

I was just in High School then and didn't know squat about Little Feat, didn't see them until the early 80's.

Nah, I did lights for Little Feat & then did both drum tech, and drove the truck on Lowell's tour

We had the best live show on the planet during the 'Waiting For Columbus' tour. I savored every moment of it.
