My wife is interested in learning a little more about President Obama.
She hasn't liked him much because she gets most of her news from Russian media, and they haven't been painting him in a very good light since the sanctions over Ukraine.
She recently watched Capitalism: A Love Story, and her opinion of him has gone up a bit.
Trying to find an honest, well done documentary so that she can get a accurate picture of the man running our counrty.
So obviously nothing about him being a secret muslim from Kenya, but also nothing about him walking on water and generally being the Messiah.
Just the facts Ma'am..

(12,319 posts)"Game Change" by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin is a book about the 2008 campaign. It gives you some pretty interesting info about all of the major players in '08...Obama, the Clintons, McCain, Palin, Edwards.

(19,958 posts)and it's probably a narrower approach than the kind of broad, comprehensive look at Obama you might be looking for, but Frontline is currently running a new documentary called "Obama at War" on PBS.
