A little insight into the Military Budget....

Just from a personal experience perspective....the vast majority of military spending goes to bloated weapons systems not the soldiers, saliors, marines etc., etc..

My daughter is married to a marine. He's an E-4 on the payscale. They have one child and they are living on his pay and the WIC program subsidy. (Women, Infants and Children)

So all those dollars being thrown at "defense" really are going to wealthy weapons manufacturers not the people in the field.

2403.00 a month plus housing and dependents pay.

That is better then median income for the US.
