Hillary Clinton Gets Ready For First Campaign Rally

NEW YORK -- Hillary Clinton will use a kickoff rally next month to lay out her most detailed policy vision to date, bringing together ideas and themes she has started to discuss during campaign stops so far in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina.

This speech will be the architecture and the operating manual for the campaign, according to senior campaign officials who briefed reporters Thursday at their headquarters in Brooklyn. Clinton will center her remarks around where the country is, where the country needs to go and why she is the best person to take Americans there.

Over the summer, the campaign will roll out specific policy proposals that Clinton believes are the best ways for moving the country forward.

The Clinton Team seems to have a great plan moving forward in the primaries and onto the general. I think her biggest deficit at this point is if she simply campaigns for the general. That was a fatal flaw in her primary against Obama. She seems to have learned from that. Seeing how she moves forward after O'Malleys announcement will show if she and her team will really make changes. So far she has done things outside of the box. Her handling of the media has been excellent. O'Malley is going to be an interesting one for her. The race will immediately change once he enters. It will become much more intense at that point. I think O'Malley has a great opportunity ahead of him for his campaign announcement. With proper planning, he is really going to hit it out of the park. The possible protests could immediately garner him enormous support if he addresses it properly. These are excellent candidates and it will really show the country the enormous difference in the two parties. The time to build off Obamas progress is now. The importance of holding the Executive Branch is huge.

He's showing some real guts IMO.
He could have had his event far from any site of troubling issues.
