5. I have been figuring sexual misconduct with a minor male from the git-go.

The way they worded the indictment certainly implies it. Decades ago. Something he would pay millions of dollars to hush up must be bad.

Of course, it could be sexual misconduct with a female minor resulting in a baby. The proof would be still be available through DNA even decades later.

Hastert was a teacher and wrestling coach in Yorkville, Illinois, between 1965 and 1981, before entering politics. Hastert was indicted on Thursday on charges of lying to the FBI about $3.5 million he allegedly agreed to pay to an undisclosed person to "cover up past misconduct."
