But you're correct. I used to value everyone's opinion whether I agreed with it or not. Not anymore. When I encounter _____ (Republicans, Freepers, Conservatives, Plutocrats, Fascists, TeaBaggers, Oligarchs, etc.), and hear them spout their "opinions" (the drivel of FOX-fed brains) I disagree and offer logic (i.e.: "Tax cuts create jobs!" "No, we were told that some 30 years ago and it didn't work" or "Social Security is welfare!" "No, it's an insurance policy, just like your auto, home, health, and life insurance policies. We pay premiums and it's there for when we need it" or "The richest 1% are 'job creators!'" "Not here anyway. You might be correct with regard to China, India, SE Asia, but not here."
When they fall back on that overused defense, "Well, we can agree to disagree," I say, "No, you're just plain stupid..."
If that's callous, so be it. But we've heard the propaganda "catapulted" for decades now and I'm getting sick and tire of it.
