Mitchell Guist, who, along with his brother Glenn, co-star in the History Channel's "Swamp People," died Monday morning, May 14.
Assumption Parish Sheriff Mike Waguespack told The Associated Press that deputies in neighboring St. Martin Parish said Guist was traveling on the Belle River when he fell around 9 a.m.
The boat returned to a nearby landing in St. Martin and someone reportedly attempted CPR, but Guist was pronounced dead at Teche Regional Hospital in Morgan City.
The cause of death has not determined, and Guist's age was not available.

it's sad and his brother Glenn must be devastated
Swamp People is a rather popular currently running show, which IMO makes this a current event

Sad thing...this. More to it maybe ...??
