It's time retire the term "PUGS"

1)this term is an insult to cute little dogs, few of whom have any wish to interfere in women's reproductive rights

2)With the increasingly insane and ultra-"religious" legislative proposals the GOP is introducing and signing all over this country, a far better term is needed.

I propose that, from hence forth and as long as is necessary, all of us on DU refer to that party as

THE REPUBLIBAN!

Agree, 100 percent. I have a cute little Pug named Sophie and hate it when I hear her name taken in vain (Pugs) when referring to a hateful group of third class morons. Pugs are the most delightful and sweetest dogs in the world. They are even cute when they snore and snuffle.
