1. Well, that's certainly not something you see every day.

How, um how do I put this? Oh yeah, uh, interesting. I will say this - it certainly makes giving landmarks for directions more unique then the usual "turn left at the 3rd intersection". I mean, it's so much more memorable to say "go past the large snub-nosed .38 Special and turn right at the next street".
