Just begun reading "Being Nixon: A Man Divided" by Evan Thomas

It starts with Richard Nixon, who had never kissed a girl before, playing the romantic lead in a high school play. When he finally kisses the girl in the play it was so awkward his acting was met with guffaws and catcalls. The emotional scars that must have left!

I had heard that story from a friend of mine who is an ad junct professor of History but this is the first time I have ever read about it.

This will be about the eleventh book I have read about Dick Nixon.
