Kentucky Clerk Hero Of Religious Freedom Movement. They Will Defy The Law.

The religious right has made it clear they will defy the law on LGBT matters and will continue to pursue their religious freedom to discriminate on matters they deem religious rights. And that attitude goes far beyond the LGBT rights. It is about any public service that violates any religious dogma. The "religious freedom" fight encompasses a large spectrum of public and even medical services besides LGBT or reproductive rights.

In the end it means obtaining the political means to change the Constitution if necessary. And the GOP field is in line with such thinking. Ted Cruz is the main champion of the Christian nation concept. And the 2016 campaign will renew the culture wars as the RW churches see it. Preaching from the pulpit while keeping tax exempt status is also considered a religious right.

You will see tax exempt status reman because no politician or institution can end it. And all churches and their congregations are united behind the idea. Any attempt to change the tax laws will be called persecution of Christians for their beliefs.

That's the solution. If you don't like the law, then remove yourself from being part of it.
Simple.

This is religious oppression, which is precisely what today's GOP stands for.

This is why Democrats should always vote in midterm elections. Sadly, they don't, which is why these problems are happening.

I vote in every election.
