Could Jailing The KY. Clerk Spur Open Revolt By Religious Right?

The RW fundamentalists have made it clear that they will NOT accept any dictate from secular government that violates their religious beliefs. The feds are in a pickle in that if they do push sanctions or penalties the RW media and churches will go ballistic over religious freedom. LGBT to them is a tipping point and their aggressive stand on contraceptives I believe signals growing resistance. In their minds they will have it their way.

have something better than the new Netflix original series

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2707408/

to watch in living color from our living rooms (George Carlin would be so jealous, he lived to see this happen)

The new series "Narcos" is Breaking Bad level of good

Look, either these childish assholes want a war against people in their own country for bigoted reasons or they dont.

Other than a recall, there is no recourse to remove her.

And at this point, it will - though conviction is iffy given the feeling on this issue.

What makes these people so different? People have been engaging in Civil Disobedience since time immemorial. This nation was founded on such acts. So what makes this particular activist and her supporters different from all of the others?

IMO This is nothing compared to what we witnessed in response to desegregation. Nobody has even mentioned mobilizing the National Guard or the need to send in Federal Troops.

It's been a bad year for fundies. They have been left behind.

Ike sent the 101st to integrate Central High in Little Rock.

These people should be goddam well jailed for contempt of court, and NOW. Let the chips fall where they may,

They need to learn that their religion should not negatively effect the lives of others. When it does, it crosses the line.

Open revolt by the Religious Right will drive religious moderates to us in droves.
