KY AG office possibly to investigate Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis for official misconduct ... jail!

This lady must be stupid, being used or severely misinformed. She might be standing for a cause, but she will likely be the one to suffer long term when she's forgotten about.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/09/01/us-usa-gaymarriage-kentucky-idUSKCN0R13S220150901

A spokeswoman for Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway said on Monday that his office is reviewing a request for a special prosecutor to determine if Davis committed official misconduct. She said on Tuesday morning a final decision had yet to be made.

Official misconduct is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 365 days in jail, the spokeswoman said.

Deny marriage licenses to same sex couples until when (or if) she's elected out of office?

She needs to go to jail or Rule of Law means nothing

She'll be in court Thursday on this, I think, since she refused again today to issue a license. A nice explicit court order with a threat of hefty continuing fines would be good

The move towards criminal prosecution is also attractive, since an appropriate conviction strips her of office and bars her from future office

Frankly I hope both of those options are applied. Especially the second.

She should step down if she truly believes her faith keeps her from putting her signature on marriage licenses. Since she doesn't have the decency then I hope she's forced from office.

It's the county that has been pushing to have her arrested for misconduct...she forestalled it by suing them which ground the "fire Davis for misconduct" train to a halt.

whereas before they might have had some sympathy for her beliefs. Now, those beliefs appear to be deranged, construed and/or she's working some kind of agenda. Or, there is always the chance she is just simply F'en stupid.

pagan secularism. She has her sights on a conviction and appeal to the SC. So she can turn America back into the christ worshiping nation it always wasn't.

Funny how the Christo-Taliban ignore the fact that the majority of the founders were Deists and Masons who denied the divinity of Jesus.
