Actually, I was in a bit of a Facebook squabble about this yesterday. My opponent was a man who nominally condemns abortion in all cases, but he conceded that abortion would ("tragically&quot be permissible if the woman's life is at risk and if no other options are available. Sure, she might be crippled for life and unable to bear children in the future, but as long as the fetus is protected, it's all good, right?

He asked me outright at what point I would no longer condone abortion, and I answered:

"Who the hell am I to condone or condemn anything? It's none of my goddamn business. I can offer an opinion if asked, but otherwise I need to stay the hell out of it."

We talk about old white guys being Fox's demographic, but in my many decades I've only grown increasingly more Liberal. We've heard the same from others here, so I know I'm not just a fluke or an outlier.

And my respect for women has only grown along the way.
