If Ohio Repubs don't like Native American names maybe they should try to rename Ohio "McKinley"

Instead of expecting Alaskans to honor McKinley rather than using the Native American name.

The state takes its name from the Ohio River. The name originated from the Iroquois word ohi-yo', meaning "great river" or "large creek". The state, originally partitioned from the Northwest Territory, was admitted to the Union as the 17th state (and the first under the Northwest Ordinance) on March 1, 1803.

I saw the Buckeye Band do a battle of the bands with Michigan before a big game that I watched in the stands with a Redcoat. I wasn't a fan before then, but it was a thrill to see Script Ohio in person.

and I'd be proud if the legislature named any one of them Mt. McKinley.
