Chicago area: cop lives matter (a lot) but black lives ... not so much

Lake County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Christopher Covelli told the Associated Press on Wednesday that more than 400 officers from numerous departments conducted an exhaustive and complete search of the immediate area of the shooting on Tuesday.
In 2015 there are now 400 FBI, state and local police employed to try to solve one murder of a policeman. In 2014 there were 460 homicides in Chicago of mostly of black men.
(1) How many resources were employed to solve these 460 murders?
(2) What percentage were actually solved by Chicago law enforcement and other agencies?
Answers: (1) far less and (2) about 30%.
