$1 Billion a Month Just Isn't Enough...

http://gofundverizon.com/

Verizon only makes $1 billion in profits every month and its top executives have raked in a measly $249 million in the last five years.

To get them out of such dire straits, Verizon wants to shift costs to employees – proposing increased healthcare costs, cutting retirement and job security, and taking away benefits from employees who were injured on the job. Management is also refusing to negotiate better wages or benefits for Verizon Wireless workers.

In order to keep showering Verizon’s top executives with cash, Verizon’s customers have also had to make sacrifices. The company has refused to build out FiOS, their high-speed internet service, to many low-income communities. Landline customers have also seen their service deteriorate

Verizon needs our help. Currently, Verizon’s CEO, Lowell McAdam makes a paltry $18 million a year and only has access to one corporate jet. Doesn’t he deserve better?

Please do all you can to help Verizon. Gutting the livelihoods of employees, the very people who make Verizon so successful, may not be enough.

Donate today. This greedy corporation needs your help.
