Fuck Him. What a lowlife.

Mike Huckabee Pledges to Criminalize Abortion Even if It Leads to “Riots in the Streets”

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is watching his poll numbers drop as Donald Trump’s continue to rise, so now he’s going all-out to be the most extreme Republican on the subject of abortion, hoping to capture the evangelical audience that thinks this is a winning issue. In a recent video conference with a group of far right loons, Huckabee staked out his position by vowing to criminalize abortion by executive order even if it leads to “riots in the streets.”

He sounds almost gleeful at the prospect.

Huckabee vowed that he will criminalize abortion, no matter the consequences: “I think that the bolder and more important and more urgent position is to invoke the constitutional rights of the unborn, recognizing them as persons, expecting lawsuits, expecting extraordinary pushback, and goodness, perhaps riots in the streets.”

“I think that we have tinkered around the edges so long that we failed to go back to the original purpose of the Bill of Rights and we have simply not applied it,” Huckabee said. “Frankly, I don’t know of any of us who are pro-lifers who would argue, ‘well that is really not a person,’ so the question is: Do we believe that the unborn child is a person? If we do, then we ought to act like that is a person and give them the protections that they are due under the Constitution.

*******************

Hey Mike....

Great story.
Do we believe that the unborn child is a person? If we do, then we ought to act like that is a person and give them the protections that they are due under the Constitution.
Step back a minute and think, use what is left of your brain, I doubt there is much, if any. Criminalize abortion! Yeah, let's throw women in jail. Let's take them away from their children left at home and toss them into a system that can in some cases be abusive and deadly. Then put their living breathing children at the hands of social services many homes are good, many are not.

What about the born, Mike? Where are your protections there? Where is your assistance to the poor starving children? Why do you leave them in poverty and scoff at them? They need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. You and your party take any needed assistance away from them.

Some say both parties are the same, I say they are wrong and could not possibly be true Democrats.

I've mentioned that I love reading them for giggles, but after seeing the lunacy pushed by the Republican Party this year, I think the one about the LHC accidentally destroying the world in 2012 but shunting everyone off to different, alternate universes might just have a chance at being true, cuz this sure ain't the world I grew up in.

And I grew up as a fundie!

I doubt he even believes his BS anymore. He's just keeping his name in the press as much as he can by being the freak he is. It's how he earns his quick cash. He keeps the religious zealots in the RW in a frenzy by spoon feeding them this type of foolishness. Then he writes some totally inane book on how the RW Christians are given Gods blessing to hate, and cashes in on that too.

It's a sick cycle of manipulation. The strange thing is it harms the GOP on a national level, but it helps them in specific stronghold states. They may shake their heads in public when pressed on such questions, but they rejoice in private at statements such as this.

The SCOTUS has ruled that abortion is a civil right. An Executive Order criminalizing it would be immediately found to be unconstitutional by even the most conservative SCOTUS. So, does he plan to pull a Kim Davis and defy the Supreme Court? Guess he doesn't care about 'a nation of laws'. But then, what do you expect? He doesn't want to be President, he wants to be Dictator for Life.

Maurice Clemmons, man wanted for questioning, has troubling criminal history

By Seattle Times staff - November 30, 2009

The man sought for questioning in the execution of four Lakewood police officers was granted clemency in 2000 by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and released on bail just six days ago on a child rape charge in Washington state...

Nine years ago, then-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee granted clemency to Clemmons, commuting his lengthy prison sentence over the protests of prosecutors.

“This is the day I’ve been dreading for a long time,” Larry Jegley, prosecuting attorney for Arkansas’ Pulaski County said tonight when informed that Clemmons was being sought for questioning in connection with the killings.

Clemmons’ criminal history includes at least five felony convictions in Arkansas and at least eight felony charges in Washington. The record also stands out for the number of times he has been released from custody despite questions about the danger he posed.

Huckabee Helped Set Rapist Free Who Later Killed Missouri Woman

By MARK SCHONE - Nov. 30, 2009

Says Clemmons was going to be serving 95 years. That case may have been different and he needed clememcy... but the Lakewood ambush was over child rape...

And isn't Huckabee a pal of Josh Duggar?

Well, read more at the link:

http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/mike-huckabee-clemency-freed-maurice-clemmons-washington-cop-shooter-suspect/story?id=9207095

And this the guy whose son killed that dog - as far as him being gleeful for killing the weak and the helpless, the rotten apple didn't fall far from that tree.

Good God, even the Pope has ordered priests to forgive women who had abortions because they faced 'a moral ordeal.' But not Huckabee. He wants to see blood shed.

OTOH, Huckabee is just saying what all the rest of the GOP candidates would like to say, and he's going for broke with it. The ID of the GOP is showing. And it ain't pretty.

If you have a frozen embryo, it can be thawed, placed in a woman's uterus, and if all goes well, a healthy baby will be born. Can you take 1 minute old newborn baby, freeze him/her, thaw him/her, and end up with a healthy baby? Nope.
