Clinton vs. Bush

The fact that we have another Clinton and the third Bush running for President shows how screwed up our "Democratic" system is.

'Just had to rant. Bugs the hell out of me.

Hillary bugs me less than Jeb but they both are only running because they are supported by Washington insiders and the oligarchy.

I know it's old news but every time someone says they want Hillary or Jeb, I just shake my head and say "Wake Up!". "That's who Washington wants you to want".

Just because someone has a different name than any president does not make them qualified. It should be the person who can do the best job.

You're right. "It should be the person who can do the best job."

It still bugs me that she is so indebted to her sponsors. My opinion.

I think we are united on the fact that Citizen's United is ruining Democracy and our country.

Hillary would be stronger and more able to focus on the needs of our citizens if she wasn't beholden to her corporate sponsors.

True with most other candidates as well.

What that is, is open to question.

Kennebunkport, July 30, 1983: Bill Clinton, George Bush & George Wallace.

Wallace and his third wife, the former Lisa Taylor, meet with Vice President George Bush and Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton at a lobster bake at Bush's residence at Kennebunkport, Maine, July 30, 1983. The third Mrs. Wallace, whom the governor married in 1981, was 30 years his junior and half of a country-western singing duo, Mona and Lisa, who had performed during his campaign in 1968.

George Wallace did all he could to oppose President Kennedy and his administration's policy to integrate public schools, including the University of Alabama.

Something else important to know: Wallace’s running mate in 1968 was Gen. Curtis LeMay, who exhibited insubordination to President Kennedy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. President Kennedy, former CIA analyst Ray McGovern noted, exhibited signs of stress over the possibility of a military coup.
