... The Lake Arthur Town Council unanimously voted to fire Raymond Mott from the police department after a picture surfaced this week of Mott wearing the KKK crest and giving the Nazi salute at an anti-immigration rally, local media reported.
"Nowadays, all over the United States cops are getting killed and cops are killing others," said Ace Beverly of the Better Lake Arthur foundation, according to KATC. "Me, myself, personally, I don't want that to happen right here in my own hometown."
Police Chief Ray Marcantel turned to the town council for help after Mott told the Jennings Daily News, "I refuse to resign." Mott initially claimed he went to the rally in Troy, N.C. in August 2014 working undercover for the FBI but later admitted he'd been lying ...

My dad would turn in his grave at this stupid cop because he fought in the Second World War. He saw his friends die, civilians suffer, and for what? So a madman could have a little more power, a little more 'living space,' and could set up death factories to kill whole populations of people he didn't like.

(67,104 posts)people, different causes but still the same mentality. Any thinking what happened in Germany can't happen again here or other places is not being too wise. All it needs is the right catalyst.
