Who's been hearing the RW meme that the polygamists will be demanding their marriage rights next?

I got it from my right-wing brother, and tonight on FB I tried to reason with a friend of a friend who was trying to say that the government should not be deciding who gets to marry and who doesn't, that it isn't fair to the polygamists.

Needless to say, it was totally unsurprising who ended up pushing that stupid bigot meme and who realized it for what it was.

5. As one of the people advocating it here...

I certainly say that you should be able to. Everybody should be free to marry whoever and as many whoevers as they want to. It's just that simple for me.

(Really though, and what I think a lot of people here never really realized was we were always planning on waging this fight as soon as we won on (LGBTQ) marriage equality...the fact that we didn't get the support of the LGBTQ community on it remains disheartening; frankly, I expected better.)
