Palin eyeing energy secretary in potential Trump administration

Washington (CNN)Sarah Palin knows the position she wants in a Donald Trump administration: Energy secretary.

"I think a lot about the Department of Energy, because energy is my baby: oil and gas and minerals, those things that God has dumped on this part of the Earth for mankind's use instead of us relying on unfriendly foreign nations," she told CNN's Jake Tapper in an interview that aired Sunday on "State of the Union."

But Palin, the GOP's 2008 vice presidential nominee, might be the first potential cabinet member to openly speak about dissolving their office.

"I'd get rid of (the Energy Department). And I'd let the states start having more control over the lands that are within their boundaries and the people who are affected by the developments within their states. If I were in charge of that, it would be a short-term job, but it would be ... really great to have someone who knows energy and is pro-responsible development to be in charge."

they don't really want to destroy government - they want to use it for their personal gain - for profit, to have control over others. Saying they hate big government or that it should be drowned in a bathtub are just talking points to get the low-info voters. How big did government grow with George Bush's homeland security? A lot, I'd say. How small is a government that intrudes into a woman's private life? Not very. Their hypocrisy is astounding.

If Sarah Palin should end up in an administration it will perfectly sum up everything fucked about this country. Good grief, Sarah fucking Palin. Thanks McCain, for putting this hateful bigot on the national stage.

It's par for the course that the Wasilla quitter is angling for a job she's already openly looking to leave though.

Perhaps this will make Trump's poll numbers shrink. A good rule of thumb for any politician: Stay away from the Palin clan!

want people in power who have no government experience. Even as incompetent as she would be, she should still disqualify due to her government experience.
