She is functionally illiterate in 3 languages.

Sarah Palin was featured on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday morning and discussed Jeb Bush and using the English language in America.

“When you’re here, let’s speak American… I took Spanish in high school, I took French in high school. I got em all mixed up," Palin said.

I got her sussed: She skyved most of the time in state school, the dosser. If she'd gone to public school she'd not have kipped during lessons.

Then again, I bollocksed up my Russian when I took Serbian. And a lot of kids have said the order of Spanish and French matters.

Perhaps she was channeling Mencken and his _American Language_. A worthy tome.

My wife is multilingual and a language tutor, and she's very familiar with that problem. There's a letter from Thomas Jefferson to his nephew advising him to study one of those languages but not both because of that.

Now I hate all of you for putting me in the position of defending Sarah Palin!

Sarah Palin is trained and qualified to be the light hearted fluff piece reporter at a mid sized or smaller TV station.

That's it. That's all she is qualified to do. The fact that she got elected to mayor of a small burg and then governor of the state does indicate she is a bit savvy, but she is still dumber than a box of rocks and disgustingly badly informed.

Back when the first debate with Biden was coming up, I suggested Joe bring out a map of the world and simply ask her to point to Iraq or the Suez Canal or Israel or ANYWHERE something important is happening.

The debate would have been over in 30 seconds

FWIW, someone should do the same to Trump
