Palin eyes energy secretary in a Trump administration

Sarah Palin would like to be Donald Trump's secretary of energy if he's elected president but she doesn't think she'd hold the job very long.
"If I were head of that, I'd get rid of it," the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee said in an interview aired Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," referring to the Department of Energy. She'd abolish the department, she said, and give states greater control of energy policy within their borders.
She also suggested she'd work to move the U.S. away from importing oil and gas from other countries.
"Energy is my baby," she said. "Oil and gas and minerals those things that God has dumped on this part of the earth for mankind's use instead of us relying on unkind foreign nations for us to import their resources."

Palin also came to Trump's defense over his inability to answer questions on Hugh Hewitt's radio show last week about the leadership of terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda and Hezbollah.
"I don't think the public gives a flying flip if somebody knows who today is a specific leader of a specific region or a religion or anything else," she said.
She studied Spanish and French in high school, she noted, although she said she "shouldn't have taken them both because I got them all mixed up by the time I graduated."

(84,711 posts)is that the Kardashian Family bumped the Palin's off the Radar...for awhile.
Sarah sees this as her last opportunity before she fades into the melting Alaska Tundra where she can write her memoirs, while eating her Moose Chili, that probably few will read.
Such is Celebrity Porn's impact on the world.....When its over its done. Was fun while it lasted though.
I might have some pity for how she was manipulated.....but, not much.

She is evolving.
The mythical confirmation hearings would be a hoot though.
