10. Anne Gorsuch was a real-estate and labor lawyer and a member

of the Colorado legislature. She was anti-governmental regulations and knew nothing about environmental law and issues. Pres. Ronald Reagan, aligned with the Sagebrush Rebellion (western cattle and sheep interests wanting more raping rights on federal range lands), appointed her to be EPA Administrator. Her job -- kill EPA. And she almost did. EPA was seriously wounded and never fully recovered, thanks to the embedding of RW Rethugs in career positions. Just as they were retiring out, Pres. GW Bush put in replacements. Yes, I can see DoE Sec. Sarah Palin dismantling the DoE. They have learned the long-game on how to kill agencies. The crazies must not get control of government again. That is why we all must vote a straight DEM ticket, regardless of being sore if our candidate fails in the primary.
