It's one of the greatest tragedies of the modern world to me; that we're so focused on ginned-up 'enemies' who we have a few disagreements with while our actual enemies murder us by the millions...and no one seems to want to do anything about that part because there's no control or power in it.

Edit: To be clear, 'no one' is meant to be a wee bit of a hyperbole, yes. There are some working for it, but not in enough numbers to matter. Hence, 'no one'. Apologies for any misunderstanding.

not by hard work or building something. That all happened long ago in their family history.

To them, getting rich was easy, so they can't imagine how other people can't get rich. Everybody else must be lazy. They're rich themselves, how hard can it be?
