As per CNN - Cop shooting in Las Vegas

Guy walks up to a cruiser and opens fire.
One Officer wounded in hand
Officers show restraint and arrest perp as he is walking away

A couple of things, CNN set this segment up as another shooting in the War on Police, and the Vegas Police Department is not providing any detail on the perp until tomorrow.

Strange, the dude walks up to the cruiser, opens fire, walks away, no shots fired at him, then info is held, makes you wonder.

It needs to be addressed like the cops shooting unarmed pedestrians also needs addressed. The entire law enforcement needs an overhaul.

No. Shooting deaths of officers are actually down 13 percent compared with the same January-to-September period in 2014. There were 30 shootings last year and 26 this year. Those figures include state and local officers, as well as federal agents. The figures also include two accidental shootings, Groeninger said. Suicides are not included.

Given that the injury to the officer wasn't fatal - and that they didn't shoot the suspect, who surrendered peaceably, it's not really a surprise that they might not be turning it into a media circus on a holiday.

The local rag (the LV Review Journal - all our papers are dire) indicates that they were "continuing to question" the suspect on Sunday.

I don't think there's anything to make one wonder about this.

Seemed to be very provocative reporting trying to feed into a narrative. I have to admit I watched Fox News in the evening a couple weeks ago, hell, I had to take a deep breath and realize ISIS and BLM is not coming to kill me.

You watched Fox News. It takes at least a month to shake the effects . . . assuming you watched less than 30 minutes.

An hour and you might need deprogramming.

They caught they guy, that I'm glad for.

Send him to jail for live, and move on.

Perhaps somebody else was with him, and it is better for them to not release info right away.
