From Donald Trump being Donald Trump on his Twitter page, to George Zimmerman spewing racist bullshit and bragging about killing Trayvon Martin on his Twitter, to this Nicole Arbour person (who appears to be famous only because she's on Youtube) defending fat shaming on Youtube, repulsive idiots are getting free audiences of millions to say repulsive shit.
Which, fine one might say, ignore them. That works for me, but millions of others are falling for the trap and it's seriously poisoning people's minds when it ought not to.

their standards and the standards of major print media kept the worst of us generally out of the media. the arrangement certainly had its limitations, but at least it maintained an air of civility in america. an illusion, perhaps, but at least it didn't encourage our worst behaviors.
now there are so many outlets (between the internet and the many tv channels) and so much access and little way to edit them out.
unfortunately, the noise-to-signal ratio is pretty high these days....
