No more Gays on "Days?"

Re: Days Of Our Lives Soap Opera

Seems like the Gay storyline has been put to sleep on this soap - as they approach their 50th anniversary.

What say ye?

Its been conspicuously absent the past week - at least.

Not missed - it was so lame...

Then one of the actors departed the show which coincided with the hiring of some new head writers. They have taken a new approach to the show by bringing back several characters from yesteryear while thinning the current cast of characters, many of whom fans did not like. Today was murder #2 and there are more on the way as the show marches toward its 50th Anniversary in November.

Will and Paul are still around town. Will's baby mama will be back in a couple of weeks and his biological mama will be returning as well so we will be seeing more of him soon. Sonny is rumored to return to town briefly in a couple of months so the story might pick up then.

Is Kayla in the storyline? Steve and Kayla were two characters I really liked in the 80's.
Is Bo together with Hope?

John and Marlena are back together - John just proposed to her...

Stefano has a guy trying to marry Hope - but - in classic fashion - I predict Bo will walk in at their wedding!

But the gay guys are out...seemingly.

Really boring and repetitive story and dialog...didn't seem to be going anywhere.

Which makes sense...since Will and Sonny seem to be gone...good - they we're so lame...it was like the same dialog day after day!!!

Modern Family does it so much better!
