My cat would crawl over burning coals to get a piece of string. He followed my granddaughter around like a puppy and we couldn't understand why since he generally ignores everyone. It was her jacket - it had a fringe and the bottom and as soon as she sat down, bam - there he was beside her chewing and batting the fringe until she had to change her jacket.
