Greek Elections: SYRIZA Lead Marginally in Polls, 4 Parties Fighting for Third Place
A new opinion poll published on Tuesday shows SYRIZA leading marginally over New Democracy, while four parties are fighting for the crucial third place.
Specifically, 28 percent of participants would vote for SYRIZA while 27.5 percent would vote for New Democracy. Another battle is fought by four different parties over who is going to play the crucial role of the third party.
The poll shows Golden Dawn coming third at 7 percent, followed by the PASOK/DIMAR alliance at 6.5 percent. The Greek Communist Party (KKE) comes fifth at 6 percent, while To Potami (The River) received a 5.5 percentage. Popular Unity and the Centrist Union tie with 3.5 percent each, while Independent Greeks (ANEL) seem that they would not be in parliament, as they gathered only 2 percent.
The number of undecided participants is decreasing as election date is approaching, with only 8.5 percent of participants saying that they havent decided yet who they would vote for.

Not sure why the fight for third place is so 'crucial'. Must have something to do with building a governing coalition after the election. I hope Golden Dawn is not part of that.
