No Quick Resolution Expected in Trump vs Andrés Lawsuit.

The lawsuit's first court date isn't until December.

The legal battle between Donald Trump and Chef José Andrés likely won't be ending anytime soon (unless the parties settle).

Reliable Source reports a scheduling conference for the dispute has been scheduled for December 11. That's a meeting between the parties' lawyers to set the date for trial.

The matter could be resolved before that if Trump and the chef settle before the court intervenes, though.

Donald Trump filed a lawsuit against José Andrés in late July, after the chef pulled out of a deal to open a restaurant in his upcoming D.C. hotel. The decision to drop out of the project came after Trump made controversial comments about Mexican immigrants. Chef Geoffrey Zakarian is facing a similar legal battle with the businessman and presidential candidate.
