I will never forget a businessperson who was furious about ADA requirements for restaurants having to make sure people in wheelchairs can have access, and this person closed down a very successful restaurant just to show her hatred of the ADA people.

7. There are lawyers who look for ADA violations and use folks disabled to file suits.

And they can give the ADA deal a bad name, but at the end of the day, if you are in violation, it is your fault, not the lawyer.
