He's showing campaigning as the lying charade it's always been. He's taking power away form corporations and other billionaires who've been buying the elections for decades by paying for his own campaign. He's minimizing the 'personhood' of corporations and hopefully destroying that power. He's showing that all the "establishment Republicans" are the pitiful lying clowns they are. He's showing they have no clothes. He's pointing out that the Republicans have voted for stupid people who just bamboozled them from the beginning. Are his base angry? Hell yes. They're sick of being conned again and again with promises. Trump is the only one voicing their rage so he gets their support. He's definitely in touch with their hatred.

Trump is using them too, but he's totally in touch with their heartfelt jingoism and he's better at manipulating them than the establishment Republicans like Jeb Bush. Jeb Bush used to look powerful and smart. Trump has exposed him for the simpering wimp he is. The stumbling, bumbling political half wit who needs the backing of the corporations and power elite to make him look powerful. Trump has already made Rick Perry drop out because he ran out of money. Very soon others will drop out for the same reason, or because their backers see the writing on the wall and the funds disappear. Meantime the billionaires have no power over Trump because Trump smacks everyone down who dares to criticize him in any way. He hits below the belt because no one tells him what to do.

He will leave the Republican party in shreds, unable to get back on it's feet by doing the same thing they've been doing.

And just maybe that's how he's actually making America great again. The Republican party as it is today is history. But only if Trump continues to feed his own ego and use up all the oxygen and express his racism and misogyny and insult all other countries. If he's stopped now all his destructive and toxic energy will be for naught.
