Kristol told CNN he would like to see former VP Dick Cheney or Sen. Tom Cotton run as independents

Conservative pundit Bill Kristol seems uneasy about Donald Trump's potential to win the Republican presidential primary.

The Weekly Standard Editor told CNN on Monday that he would be unable to back the real estate mogul.

"I doubt I'd support Donald. I doubt I'd support the Democrat," Kristol said. "I think I'd support getting someone good on the ballot as a third-party candidate."

Kristol told CNN that he would like to see former Vice President Dick Cheney or Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) run as independents in 2016.

he would have to leave the country at some point. Then he could be arrested for his crimes.

It would be a great idea. First good idea Kristol has had in a very long time, if ever.

and the neocon crowd are terrified of someone they can't control, either through money or shaming. tRump was name-dropping John Bolton as someone he would take advice from, but I guess that isn't convincing enough for the Kristol wing.

Because that is just flat-out insane. It's not "controversial," or "contrarian," or any other buzzword so favored by the popular media to explain their addiction to certain commentators. Does CNN feel any responsibility whatsoever to its viewing public to point out just how terrifically bad Kristol's demented comments are? Or is it just "Well, we want to put this out there and let the people decide" without providing any context or facts to help viewers make an informed decision?
