(23,156 posts)I don't think it would be offered to him in the first place. Or, if he were on the short list, I don't think he'd be willing to do it.
As always, whether or not he'd have a shot at the VP slot is utterly and completely dependent on who'd wind up at the top of the ticket, and right now, no matter how hard people here try to divine who that is going to be, we really haven't a clue.

(23,156 posts)when the Presidential nominee is deciding on his VP, he may reach out to more than one person to offer the job. Actually, I'm thinking it's done one offer at a time, and maybe I'm completely off on this, but I can see this happening with Jeb. However, I am NOT predicting that scenario, just saying I see it as a possibility.
