I hosed the ash from the Valley Fire off my windshield. The skies looking threatening out her in the valley but I suspect it's not going to rain. Hope I'm wrong.

I managed to get my car washed just before the fire. Maybe the rain will restore the wash job.

I have a FB friend in Cloverdale who has been posting updates on this fire. Everyone up there has to be really relieved. Hopefully you'll get a good strong steady rain and the fire will soon be out.

But our mandatory and advisory evacuations were lifted when the wind shifted and the fire blew back on itself. This rain should pretty much end it.
