Linguistics Expert CONFIRMS: Donald Trump Talks Like A 4th Grade Boy
Jack Schafer of Politico has recently completed a fascinating linguistics analysis that proves the communicative immaturity of a very prominent presidential candidate: Donald Trump.
Schafer carefully examined the numerous subtleties and intricacies of Trumps typical speech structures. With this information, Schafer has come to the conclusion that Donald Trump is the ideal candidate for less astute conservatives who cant seem to figure out left from right. He presented his research in an August 13 column, claiming that Trump talks like a simpleton. Schafer and others are even speculating that his speeches are designed to win the votes of citizens with lower IQs.
According to Schafer, Trump prefers to use short, block-like words, and he combines them into short, block-like speeches instead of linking together multi-syllabic terms and complex phrases. If Trumps speeches were marketed as a childrens toy, Schafer believes that his words would represent a minuscule box of Lincoln Logs.
When Schafer analyzed the presidential candidates replies at a recent Fox News debate, he came to even more humorous discovery; Trumps linguistic style only scored at a grade-school level. In fact, he scored lower than almost all of the other GOP candidates. Trumps score averages at a 4th-grade level, but at some of his debates, hes only managed to reach a 3rd-grade linguistic level.

(16,286 posts)Donald Trump inherited a shit load of money.
Used that money to chase old people out of their homes, to make condos.
Has not done one day's of work in his life.
Could not do the work of President, would want to back out after the first day.

(1,937 posts)Large parts of the US population have been over decades been 'trained' by the media and politicians (and others)
to believe that 'belief' ranks higher than 'facts', 'knowledge', 'intelligence'
My favorite saying 'belief in church, outside we deal in facts and scientific theories' (incidentally as close to facts as science goes)'
I agree it's sad, especially considering how long the Chinese history of 'deep political maneuvering' goes back (5k years?)
and this guy thinks he can nullify them
it's like Bush and Putin ..underestimating someone is a bad idea

(9,686 posts)when I tell you he is very articulate, personable and sweet, at least on the phone when he is talking to people who need to do a job for him. This is a joke, a form of entertainment and he's laughing like crazy when he gets home at night..
