Anyone else going to boycott IT tonight, and tune your TV to anything other the CNN Demolition Derby Debate?

Last edited Wed Sep 16, 2015, 06:27 PM - Edit history (7)

The Aquarium Channel is more attractive to me than to watch this excercise in mass propaganda and mind control.

CNN is charging 50x the normal rate because they are guaranteeing to corporate advertisers who can afford it that their heavily promoted monster truck rally will attract enough eyeballs to justify the rates....anything less and not only does CNN lose money, maybe Jeff Zucker and his ridiculous management of the outfit gets fired.

And then maybe the incessant free advertising, in advance of the massive and highly anticipated paid advertising of the 2016 election campaign, for their already heavily promoted number One Monster Truck, Monster Trump, ends,...... and maybe then CNN will get back to some measure of sanity?

Advertising works. Trump is yet more proof of how effective mass advertising is, free or not is irrelevant. And just how evil is Citizen's United?

We will soon enough find out.

This free mass advertising campaign of the mass media for Trump is just a warm up act, a free display and sample of the goods if you will, by the cash hungry CEO's and shareholders.

The mere act of watching this newsporn is enabling, but then there is no denying that train-wrecks have always gathered the crowds, so I am sure the event will be a huge ratings success.....only in America.

American Taliban.

Not one thing entertaining or funny about them.

That would beat out the Aquarium Channel or even the Fireside Channel, which I would also rather watch than a blabbering syllable of Il Douche, that clown creation of mass media, so maybe I will watch that.

except the most important thing is the 15" high speed fan that he keeps on his dresser and uses while the gel and mousse are still damp.

When he goes on an alien hunt, even if the wind is blowing the opposite direction, his hair still stands up with just a slight backward tilt.

Which is funny because when I go out in the wind, hairspray or no, the wind always blows my hair in my eyes and face.

Is there an alien connection here. None of the artifacts show aliens or gods with hair in their eyes...? Is Giorgio an alien?

I have a strong stomach and constitution.

I can take it.

CNN may regret all the hype over this. They have seating for only 500, and the guests are people on the Reagan Library List, and some other folks that we don't know how their names were obtained. Great opportunity for a fix to hear cheers at what I would call the wrong places, and boos where I would cheer.

Fox at least had a HUUGE audience where candidates could have a few friends and supporters attend...

Jake Tapper is a good interviewer. He hangs on like pit bull when he wants an answer, but with all those candidates, good luck getting anything sensible to happen.

CNN, I think you goofed with that audience, AND the place to have it. It's stacked to do away with Trump and help Bush.

Do CNN actually realise you watch them? Or their advertisers? Have you told them?
