Observations from last night's debate.

1. The media and the Republican candidates are all still under the assumption that the Democratic nominee will automatically be Hillary Clinton. It won't be.
2. Trump, the giant gasbag that he is, ironically is running out of gas. He seemed flustered and tired about half-way through the debacle. Worse yet, the crowd seemed to have turned against him. This tragicomedy may soon be over.
3. Scott Walker is simply pathetic.
4. Chris Christie is simply obnoxious.
5. Rand Paul sounded like a commie at times compared to his compatriots on stage. On the Iraq War and the War on Drugs, the man is spot on. Regarding everything else, he really has nothing worthwhile to say.
6. Ted Cruz is simply insane.
7. Marco Rubio would fare poorly in prison.
8. Mike Huckabee is the Devil incarnate.
9. Ben Carson would be great at leading guided meditation sessions. I'd buy the CD's. Oh, and he seems like a nice guy, a black Mr. Rogers sort, except bat-shit crazy.
10. Carly Fiorina is a very good actress and bullshitter. She convincingly lies about everything, almost as if she believes the whoppers she tells.
11. Jeb Bush is simply a bore, and in complete denial over the catastrophes that were the presidencies of his senile father and retarded brother.
12. Rick Kasich is simply a Republican.
13. In Republicanland, facts are of no importance, at all.

Like most so-called "libertarians," he makes sense for about five minutes and goes off into la-la land.

Trump will be the nominee. What little of substsnce he did say, was right on message with the crazy right base.
Wants to make america great
Will make america flush with cash
Keep out the foreigners
Obama us bad
Clinton is worse
Atttack syria and iran before its too late

I also think Trump will fizzle before the primaries.

But I have no clue who will end up the Republican nominee. I guess if I were forced
to place a bet now, I'd go with Kasich.

They were a truly sincere bunch.

Of all of them Fiorina prepared the best. She memorized long tomes of international issues but since the moderators weren't interested in that, probably so as not to embarrass Trump, she interrupted and barked out every terrorist name and enclave in the Middle East. It was pretty impressive that she could talk that machine-gun-fast without stumbling once on the Arabic names.

the same.

I mean, I would like to know how are they going to pay for them? And it seems the moderators don't care about asking that.

Trump did look tired and I do think his ratings will go down because 1) he backed down to Carly 2) his answer about talking to Putin was a joke -- so he has no concrete answers 3 ) he just didn't stand out, IMO.

Bush -- may go up a little but his "my brother kept us safe" bit was ridiculous

Carly-- I think she may have won the debate because she showed determination and toughness but to me to tough and rude at times (but she does lie and have grand ideas of increasing our military -- what is she going to cut??)

Kasich -- if Carly didn't win it was him only because he seems sensible, especially when he mentioned the american people want to hear ideas instead of the bickering (But bickering and not getting along is what the Rs do)

But how come a famous AMERICAN woman could not be mentioned on currency??
