Christ on a cracker: Expelled Rep. Gamrat files to run in the seat she lost

PLAINWELL, Mich. (WOOD) — Cindy Gamrat, who was expelled from the Michigan House following a sex scandal and cover-up, has filed to run for her old seat.

The Allegan County Clerk’s Office confirmed that Gamrat, a Republican from Plainwell, filed around 2:30 p.m. Thursday to run in the special election to fill the 80th District seat she vacated when she was removed

In an afternoon phone interview, Gamrat told 24 Hour News 8 is running because she wants the voters to have the say as to whether she keeps her job. That’s the platform she stood on when she asked the House not to expel her in the first place.

She's on a Mission from God and won't let a little adultery & misuse of public funds stand in her way! We'll see just how stupid people are in Allegan County. I live near Allegan, so I wouldn't be surprised if they elected her again. Not much brainpower there. Or morals--unless it concerns "Teh Gays"--then everybody gets all holier-than-thou.

2. DOnt know who this is, but this is simple, if the alternative is a Democrat

5. As I recall, she didn't get much support from her constituents

when she finally showed up to her local office. This would be the prime time for someone new to get their foot in the door. It's just very unlikely that would be a Democrat.
